    • Disclose any suppliers we have a vested interest in
    • Pass discounts and/or commission onto clients

Well. We can hardly contain our excitement this week as our guest blog series “The Fabulous Bride’s Guide to…Wedding Music” launched on the very fabulous b.loved wedding blog (hurrah!).

The champion of pretty, contemporary weddings, b.loved is one of the top 20 wedding blogs in the UK, according to industry yardstick UKwed.com. We were recently extremely lucky to meet the blogger/stylist behind it, the lovely Louise Beukes, and spent a very entertaining couple of hours chatting about all things wedding music.

In this, the first of our 4 part series – Why your live band is a bridal styling issue (and not just the groom’s job!) – we discuss…

    • Why most brides delegate the wedding music to their unsuspecting grooms
    • The ONE thing your guests will remember most about your wedding
    • The regret that 78% of brides have with the gift of hindsight
    • How your live band can help you to ‘tell the story’ of your wedding

  • Introducing…Most Entertaining Wedding Supplier 2012!

    Major excitement at MyFab HQ!

We’ve just been awarded “Most Entertaining Wedding Supplier 2012″ at the Ice the Cake InCREDIBLE Wedding Suppliers Awards!

For those not in the know (where HAVE you been, darling??) these are a national awards celebrating the most credible, reliable and professional suppliers in the wedding  industry.

The judging panel included top wedding entrepreneurs and one or two prestigious celebs such as Mark Frith, ex-editor extraordinaire of Heat, Smash Hits and Time Out London.

    Oh, what a night!

Brad & I dusted off our glad rags to accept the award for LM2 Entertainment (My Fabulous Wedding Band’s parent company) from none other than Simon Cowell and David Beckham**

We’re EXTREMELY humbled by the official recognition and wanted to send out massive L.O.V.E. to all of our fabulous clients who nominated us in large numbers.

Anna MacDougall, awards judge and owner of fabulous wedding planning and co-ordination consultancy Bride & Glory commented: “The competition for the ‘most entertaining’ category was fierce, but LM2 Entertainment stood out for me through their incredible client feedback”.

** (Ok, ok, they were exceptionally good look-a-likes!)

From the sublime to the ridiculous

The judges were tickled by one particular nomination where the band had jumped in to help the bride & groom when their wedding venue ran short on waiting staff.

Judge Anna MacDougall commented: “I don’t think you can beat working with a band that ‘moonlights’ as waiters to help out a bride & groom in a pickle!”

‘Big up’ to Schwing for their silver service skills, as well as their phenomenal musical talent!
